Let Your Voice Be Heard!

Research from across the country shows that positive teaching and learning conditions are essential for student success and teacher retention and that educator’s own voices provide critical feedback on whether those conditions exist. That is why educational leaders are urging every school-based licensed educator in the state to complete the TELL MASS (Teaching, Empowering, Leading and Learning in Massachusetts) survey. The Commonwealth is extending this opportunity to all 404 districts.

The Department and our school improvement Advisory Council are urging every school-based licensed educator in the state to complete the TELL MASS survey. This is the second statewide opportunity for all educators in Massachusetts to provide valuable input on key education issues such as available time, facilities and resources; community engagement and support; instructional practices and more.

The survey will be available online on this website starting March 12 and ending April 6, 2012. You should be able to complete the survey in 20 to 30 minutes.

The survey is completely voluntary, confidential, and anonymous!  School based educators will receive their letters with the individual anonymous access codes the week of March 5th.

Please check this website frequently in the coming weeks for more updates!
